I’m Dogun Oghenekobiruo—DogunFX. My work is grounded in the belief that useful software comes from understanding systems, people and the real problem underneath the request.
2014 → now
My journey
A decade-long relationship with software—not a perfectly straight line.
My technology journey began around 2014 while studying Computer Science. Early work in programming and desktop development grew into web applications, Android and mobile products, backend engineering and the connected full-stack systems I build today.
Teaching became part of that journey early. At Rolof Computers, and later during NYSC at Ideal IT Center, I helped students move from syntax toward practical software development. Freelance work added the pressure and perspective of real requirements, while professional product roles deepened my experience across APIs, payments, administration systems and mobile applications.
Today, that experience comes together in product work such as Justin’s Homes, AgoPay and TaskEarn—software where multiple interfaces depend on the same underlying workflows and engineering decisions.
How I think
Clarity is a technical advantage.
I value engineering decisions that make software easier to operate, maintain and adapt—not complexity for its own sake.
Keep architecture understandable
Software should make change possible without making every new requirement an exercise in archaeology.
Treat debugging as engineering
Investigating failure modes reveals how a system really behaves and where its assumptions break down.
Build and explain
Teaching sharpens technical judgment. If an idea cannot be made clear, it probably has not been understood deeply enough.
